Television interview with Henrik Fisker on the sports high-performance Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid vehicle being developed at Fisker Automotive (www.fiskerautomotive.com). Video shows rare footage of Quantum Technologies’ (www.qtww.com) installations where the Q-drive electric hybrid powertrain is being developed for the Karma. Test runs are at El Toro’ old airbase in Orange County, and a showcar was recently demonstrated at the tracks of Laguna Seca. Production is planned at Valmet Automotive’s installations at Finland.

87,000 is actually pretty cheap. Most high end sports/luxury cars can easily go for higher. And not to mention, the cost of R&D, the motor and everything. This car is actually a bargain.

Im an 18 year old kid, with big dreams in the car industry. Everyone that thinks this car isnt worth the money is crazy, look at the typical hybrid, a prius, tell me who wants to drive one of those? if you want to have a car with looks youll sacrifice the gas mileage. so with this car, if you can have a luxary sports car with the great looks of a DB9, with 100 mpg for under $100,000? how is this not a great invention? these designers are brilliant, and i look up to how they did this.
